Well it's been awhile since I last updated this blog. LOL big surprise I'm not that
good on updating it on a regular basis. Hmmmmmmm maybe that should be my birthday resolution. Well........I'm still working at the drive-in & I am
ABSOLUTELY loving it!!!!! Convergys can go to fly away into a unemployment hell as I'll never return there. So anyways I've almost gotten the garden
beds prepped, but the brand new seed I bought to start for the veggies........well other than 3 of the carrots, not one of the others started up. So I bought
all brand new seed again and did a restart on the seeds, but if they don't sprout up within the next couple of days; I'll just go & buy the veggie
starts. I buy the pepper & tomato starts as it is, simply because in order to have them ready to go I would have to start them in January or February, so
it's just easier to buy them already started and decent sized.
But Grams is not doing good. She has a couple of teeth that are hurting her, so not only does she not feel like eating anything (I am getting her to sip on hot broth, hot jello, hot chocolate.....and such, but that's it. She even turning down her beloved milk toast & rice & raisins in milk.) but even the hot water bottle with the pain pills is not bringing her relief. So I'm trying to spend some extra time babying her, but it's difficult as I really can not do anything more than just hold her hand or heat up the water bottle.
But I have been enjoying my perk at work. I've already seen Forbidden Kingdom..............WHICH SO TOTALLY KICKS BUTT!!!!!! Tonight I'm seeing Speed Racer & it's co-feature is Forbidden Kingdom. ROFL so I get to see it again!
I invited my sister in-law & both nephews but my one nephew & my sister in-law (His mom) has a ball game
tonight that starts at 8:30 pm the same time we'll need to be at the drive-in. Hopefully my other nephew will have his homework done in time to go with
me.
But they & their sister already know to watch & see which movies interest them, because I told them that this summer they will need to come up to the drive-in with me
Next week I'm gonna watch Iron Man, then there is also the new Indiana Jones movie I'm gonna see along with the new Narnia movie.
However today I did get 40 birthday cards in the mail from my sister in Texas. Now you may think that is strange, but see I'm turning 40 this year. In fact it's in just 3 days.........on Sunday to be exact that I hit the big 4-0 Some people might be depressed about turning 40, but I'm not. Simply because I'm just enjoying life just way too much!
So yes, I am a Taurus. I've always loved being under that sign & yes my favorite gemstone is the 'Emerald' (Okay to be fair I love all gemstones & admittedly a 'bling-bling' girl, but emeralds are my ultimate favorite.) And yes I am born in the year of the Monkey. If you haven't
figured it out by now I am a true monkey to which I love.
